Review of SMOK H-Priv 220W – new!

Today I will tell you about the new flagship of the SMOK company, which is a direct successor to the Xcube2, but it looks much better. It’s called the H-Priv 220W box mod

The main design feature will be the huge red triangular Fire button, otherwise it is still the same square Xcube2. The screen location of other controls is on top, the USB port is on the bottom.

Another innovation is the new battery compartment cover, which we have already seen in the company’s previous box mods. vape wellington The box mod looks much better than its predecessors, very bright, stylish and aggressive. To be honest, I really don’t like the placement of the controls and screen at the top because there hasn’t been a day when they haven’t been clean, at least for me. The box mod is available in three colors:

The size of the box mod has been significantly reduced. Compared to Xcube2: height decreased from 100 to 91 mm, width from 60 to 55 mm, and weight decreased by 20%. The thickness remained unchanged at 25 mm. The box mod is made of zinc alloy, 510 stainless steel connector and has a spring-loaded pin that is plated with gold.

As I already said, the battery compartment cover is implemented in the same way as in the previous box mod, namely the R200. It shows the polarities and has holes for venting gases. The box mod runs on two 18650 batteries. Charging the battery via USB is most likely not provided, as in the Xcube2 (but I don’t know for sure), but there is a firmware update.

Now to the performance characteristics of the board. The maximum power of the box mod is 220 W (of course this is a lie, I don’t think the real one will be higher than 160, maximum 170), with a minimum resistance of 0.1 ohm, in TC mode 0.06 ohm with a temperature limit of 100-315 C or 200-600 F.

I don’t think the device will be wildly popular, but Xcube2 owners obviously won’t mind replacing it with the new H-Priv 220W. Of course, there can be no question of 220 watts, if I’m not mistaken, the Xcube2 produced approximately 155W out of 160 declared, I think the story here will be exactly the same, the box mod cannot produce 220 watts on two 18650 batteries; only time will tell whether the box mod is good. I don’t know how much this box mod will cost, but I came across a starter kit of it and a TFV4 tank on PRE-ORDER for $40, I think later it will cost about 60-70. Therefore, the box mod separately will cost about $40-50
