Review of SMOK R40 TC
Today looks like starter kit day. This time SMOK has released a new starter kit, which is very small in size and that’s probably all. The R40 TC kit is called and is a set of the SMOK R40 box mod with a built-in battery and a Micro Basic Tank.

SMOK designers, as always, overslept everything and in fact the box mod is a very much smaller version of the R200 box mod; no changes have occurred at all. vapelf ice vape The box mod is available in four colors, which you can see below. Each tank has its own vape band color, which will protect the glass well.

All controls remain unchanged, as I already said, this is just a smaller copy of the R200.

The only difference from the R200 box mod is the built-in 1900 mah battery, which, according to SMOK, takes about an hour to charge. For me, this is a very decent battery capacity with a maximum power of the box mod of 40 W. For most vapers, such a box mod should last about a day.

The tank is a slightly modified version of the TFV4 tanks. The only significant change concerned refueling. Instead of the usual opening of the lid, it unscrews here, some will like it, some will not, everyone has their own taste. The tank volume is 2.8 ml of liquid.

The kit also includes a wide drip tip that was used in the TFV4 Micro, it is made solely for appearance, since the base of the drip tip is still 510.

SMOK offer us two replacement evaporators for this tank, the first is a 1.2 ohm single klepton coil for a cigarette puff, and the second is a 0.6 ohm dual klepton coil for a hookah puff.
Total package includes:
1 SMOK R40 TC
1 Micro Basic Tank
1 coil 0.6 ohm clapton dualcoil, 20-40W
1 coil for 1.2 ohm clapton, 18-40W
1 vapeband
1 charging cable

To be honest, I don’t know who would benefit from such a starter kit; for me personally, such power is too low, and I just can’t imagine how I would use it. The only reasonable solution is to use it as a summer option under shorts, I can’t think of anything else. The kit is priced, assuming no design work has been done, and is essentially a slightly smaller version of an existing device.” So they’re clearly overpriced, I’d get it for no more than 30-35.
