Review of Steelvape ETH Box Mod. First Look
In this article, we are talking about a new box mod from the guys from Steelvape with an incomprehensible name ETH Box Mod.
Today’s First Look is once again dedicated to the products of the Chinese manufacturer Steelvape, which over the past few months has “rolled out” many interesting devices to the vaping market and turned from a not very popular company into a fairly well-known brand. However, along with good devices, this company often produces a very mediocre product, which often turns out to be completely unclaimed. And now, it is precisely this potentially unnecessary device that we will talk about now. Meet the Steelvape ETH Box Mod.
Steelvape ETH Box Mod Colors
It is categorically unclear what the manufacturer was guided by when choosing the name of its box mod. mech mods in new zealand ETH Box Mod not only sounds strange, but is also difficult to remember. So you can no longer expect any excitement around this device. But, let’s leave the “naming” on the conscience of Steelvape and take a closer look at the new product. The ETH Box Mod is currently available in two main colors: black and red. In addition, there are two mixed versions: red-black and black-red. Scarce colors, I must say.
Steelvape ETH Box Mod Front Panel
The box mod received a 1.3-inch color OLED display, the interface of which the company does not show even on its official website. Its own board is responsible for the work here, some of the functionality of which Steelvape is especially proud of. As the manufacturer himself states, the ETH Box Mod is one of the most accurate mods in terms of temperature control ever created. A strong statement, but not entirely timely, since the popularity of the TC mode has long been reduced to a minimum.
Steelvape ETH Box Mod Back
Despite its unusual appearance, the device looks quite compact and has good ergonomics. Such a barrel, presumably, will fit perfectly in the hand and not cause discomfort to its user.
Steelvape ETH Box Mod Connector
Another very questionable solution can be called the connector and the landing pad for atomizers. And, if the connector itself looks more or less reliable, then why the pad is on such a separate ledge is a question.
The bottom of the Steelvape ETH Box Mod
It is good that Steelvape took care of some kind of safety of its device and provided the bottom pad with as many as sixteen ventilation holes for, presumably, the release of gases in case of trouble with batteries.
Steelvape ETH Box Mod Battery Compartment
And yes, the ETH Box Mod is designed to operate on three 18650 batteries, connected, apparently, in parallel. In addition, the new product is capable of operating on just two power elements. In terms of output power, the manufacturer promises as much as 240W. There is something in this device for which fans of mechanical mods can appreciate it. The fact is that the minimum resistance threshold in the ETH Box Mod is 0.06Ω, which makes the box mod an excellent station for winding and burning coils, for example.
