Review of Limitless ARMS RACE 200W. Unlimited arms race
In this review, we will tell you about a box mod with an unusual appearance from the American company Limitless Mod Co. — ARMS RACE 200W TC BOX MOD.
Perhaps, the cooperation of the Americans Limitless with the Chinese from iJoy brought good dividends to both manufacturers: both successfully appeared on the market with RDTA, received their share of the profit and, having loudly quarreled, went their separate ways. Today, both companies are engaged in their devices without any overlap. The Americans still have interesting devices, it seems that they found another manufacturer in China for their developments. The subject of our review today — Limitless ARMS RACE 200W TC BOX is not a novelty, so much so that the second version is already available for pre-order in Chinese stores, about which there is not a word on the company’s website yet. According to some rumors, the first model of the device was going to be discontinued, but, as a quick inspection of Chinese sites showed, the device is available for sale in large quantities, and even with a new design. Let’s consider what it can boast of and stand out among all the variety of box mods.
Limitless Arms Race 200W packaging
The ARMS RACE packaging is designed minimalistically, but “richly”: the box is decorated with a huge golden chevron on the lid. It is curious that neither the characteristics nor the color of the device are indicated anywhere, there is not even a sticker with an originality check, beloved by many manufacturers. buy vape devices The color can be easily found out without even opening the box – by the picture peeking out between the bottom and the lid, in my case it is Blue Digi Camo. But for detailed performance characteristics of our box, you will have to go online.

QR Code Instructions
In general, Limitless, as usual, does not please us with the richness of the package. There is no cable, no goodies, even the manual, and that digital one, should be available via a link when reading the QR code on a thick black sticker. As it turned out, “something went wrong,” and the code could not be read either by a standard smartphone camera or online scanners. Not a bad start…
There is no trace left of the previous “brick” LMC 200W, the new box mod has a quite comfortable ergonomic shape without sharp corners and edges, and the entire coating seems to be rubberized – matte and very pleasant. Asher Dynamics, who developed the shape of the “Arms Race” case (that’s how the box’s name is literally translated), were obviously inspired by a gun magazine for cartridges; the parallels are obvious at first glance.
As meticulously as the weapon developers treat the functional elements of the design, so thoughtlessly are useless details crammed all over the LMC Arms Race body: a gold cockade (most likely plastic covered with paint) on the opposite side from the buttons, protruding trapezoids on both sides of the body at the top, a protruding “collar” for the atomizer, a “skirt” at the bottom of the battery compartment cover, a plastic vertical insert on the opposite side from the screen (guess where the display is hidden)… In short, More Design!

Limitless ARMS RACE Screen and Control
Limitless ARMS RACE controls are classic, on the end there is a Fire button and unmarked “+” and “-“. All buttons are covered with the same material as the case, they are pressed with a clear click, the press is tight and pleasant, they do not rattle when shaking. Fire has a ribbed surface, it works clearly and without delays. The control buttons do not protrude beyond the dimensions of the case, they are quite small, but quite convenient to operate.
After installing the batteries, the box mod must be turned on with a standard five-fold press, and it is turned off in the same way. A small screen is located under one of the two panels, more precisely on the side where the Limitless Mod Co logo is applied on the protruding element. Of hundreds of similar displays, ours can stand out only by the graphic indication of two batteries separately, and not the total charge, otherwise everything is very stingy: the set power (or temperature), winding resistance and the supplied voltage during operation. The display is very dim, and even in cloudy weather it is almost impossible to see what is displayed on it outside.
Impressions and conclusions
Limitless Arms Race 200W box mod coatingOverall, the impressions of the box are very ambivalent. It looks great, but not everything is perfect in terms of operation. Support for resistance from 0.1 Ohm is no longer relevant, now we need 0.05 Ohm. But, by the way, the box mod was able to “lift” a dripper with 0.09 Ohm, but with 0.08 Ohm it completely refused to work. Many users complained about automatic shutdown after a while of inactivity, my copy does not have such a feature, the mod does not turn off and does not block itself. Perhaps this point has been corrected. The pleasant soft-touch coating gets dirty very quickly, and cleaning it near the connector is generally a task for especially patient people, with the existing relief and protruding side it is not very easy. This “collar” also gets in the way when you need to turn the AFC ring on the tank. The non-obvious disadvantages include the plastic case, which can simply crack at the first serious fall. Another unpleasant feature is associated with it: hot atomizers cool down very slowly, precisely because the case does not absorb heat. But the box itself remains barely warm.
The advantages include the unusual appearance of the Limitless ARMS RACE, despite the huge number of non-functional elements, it looks attractive, especially for people interested in military themes. Thanks to its shape, the device fits in the hand wonderfully, however, as practice and reviews show, the matte coating on the plastic quickly begins to rub off, and on the metal it simply peels off. In four days, nothing has peeled off yet, but the metal has already begun to shine under the paint on the lower part of the lid. I really liked the quick response of the box when pressing Fire, there is no delay at all. During the testing, no glitches were noticed (except for the one described above with TC), the box worked as expected all the time. Despite the statement on the Limitless website about support for atomizers up to 25 mm, ∅26 mm can be easily installed here.
Liked:
Unusual appearance and design
Fast response
Fits comfortably in the hand
Disliked:
Staining coating
Very slow rewind
Dim display
Atomizers cool down poorly
USB connector on the bottom of the case
Poor battery life
It seems that the leitmotif of the device’s release can be called a phrase from the Limitless Mod Co. website: If you are looking for a new box mod, or want to stand out from all the other, pick up the Skull Chief Arms Race Limitless Box Mod! In general, the unusual appearance is the only advantage of the device reviewed today. Sometimes, this is enough to find its buyer.
