Today’s review will focus on a new device for beginner vapers from the well-known Chinese company Joyetech — Exceed D19 Kit.

The products of Joyetech have been enjoying well-deserved popularity all over the world for many years; the manufacturer and its subsidiaries offer a huge selection of devices for both beginners and advanced vapers. Among the variety of kits for beginner vapers, the Ego AIO kit stands out, having undergone several updates and existing in various versions, but essentially using the good old Cubis with top airflow, which later turned into the Unimax atomizer. A product that is simple and convenient in all respects, but has long been asking for a replacement. This update was the release of a new ∅22mm Exceed D22 clearomizer and an officially released kit today, consisting of its reduced to ∅19mm version and a compact battery pack — Exceed D19 Kit.

The compact packaging of the kit from Joyetech is as laconic as always, but at the same time maximally informative: the lid contains the name and image of the device, the side walls contain the manufacturer’s logos, the Internet address and the motto: Exceed Expectations. e-cigarettes in new zealand On the back side, the package contents, the color of the device, brief technical specifications, the address and company details are indicated, and there is a sticker with a verification code for the originality of the purchase. On the box of the kit that came to me for review, there is also a sticker with the inscription Sample, on the device itself there are no indications that this is a sample. In the package, the atomizer is prudently not screwed all the way into the battery to protect the evaporator from burning out and the entire set from damage during transportation.

The kit can please a novice vaper not only with two multilingual instructions for each component of the device, but also with a full set of spare parts for the atomizer, replacement evaporators, and even two nice stickers. In a separate box there is a long thick micro USB cable for charging.

Joyetech Exceed D19 Appearance and Design

The Exceed D19 kit is a classic format of “eGo” with a diameter of 19 mm, again, thanks to Joyetech, which once released a good Ego ONE kit. This size is still quite compact (compared to the most common 22 mm) with a good battery capacity and does not require a radical increase in battery length, as is the case with classic eGo ∅14 mm. Unlike the popular all-in-one product eGo AIO, the use of the most common type of 510 connector today and a separate atomizer and battery allows you to replace parts of the device or use them with other components, rather than throwing the entire kit in the trash if it breaks.

The battery has only the most necessary things, at the same time it will not cause any difficulties for a novice vaper when using: press the only button – take a drag. The device is turned on and off by the usual five-fold pressing. The button is made of plastic, presses with a distinct click, protrudes above the body by almost a millimeter, it is easy and simple to find without looking by touch. On the opposite side from the button is a standard micro USB connector, from which charging occurs. On top is a 510 connector, which is currently the industry standard for vaping. The positive contact is gold-plated and fixed, you should be careful with third-party atomizers, it can easily be pressed through with significant force. At the bottom there is a hole for emergency gas outlet, if any problems arise with the built-in can.

Impressions and conclusions

Exceed D19 Clearomizer MouthpieceI honestly used the device for several days to really feel like a person who bought the Exceed D19. Many simple and obvious things for an experienced vaper will not be obvious to a beginner vaper, but above I tried to outline all the nuances and design features of the kit as simply as possible. There are only two points regarding complaints. Firstly, a slightly crooked connection (noticeable in two general photos at the beginning of the review) does not affect the performance in any way, perhaps simply because I have a prototype. Secondly, another new format of evaporators for the Exceed atomizer, which are not yet on sale. The only good news is that Joyetech products are easily available in our stores due to high demand and new replacements will definitely appear on the shelves of local vape shops.

Charging the Exceed D19 battery Otherwise, I have no complaints about the operation of the device or its appearance. The paint looks quite durable, although it is unlikely to be resistant to metal objects, you should not throw your “vape” in a bag with your keys. And in general, it is better to keep away from any metal, this is even written in the instructions. The safety rules are quite simple: do not wet, do not heat, do not give to children, monitor the liquid level in the tank and regularly refill, vape – turn off by pressing five times, automatic shutdown is not provided here. The capacity of 1500 mAh will be enough for a beginner for a long time (I remember with horror my first eGo ∅14 mm: short at 650 and long at 900 “swings”), especially when using an evaporator at 1.2 Ohm. A cigarette puff on one open minimum hole is a real MTL, without compromise, tight and pleasant. The atomizer itself does not leak, does not splash after filling, is easy to maintain and service. A beginner only needs to change the “head” once to understand all the intricacies of the device.
